This hymn is frequently sung incorrectly (including in this recording),
the "wind" in the line "it varies with the wind" should be rhymed with
"find" and is the mechanical wind, as with a watch, rather than a
breeze.

The IDEAS Collection
From
November 1st we are launching the IDEAS Collection. We have become
aware that over the 16 months that we have been running IDEAS we have
provided a vast number of hymns and that this is now a large
collection. Over this month we are compiling the PowerPoint files into
a resource that will be available separately. You can see more at IDEAS Collection.
We will be adding 5 extra hymns each week and we will be making these
available to our full IDEAS users. We want you to help us compile a
great collection and so invite you to nominate hymns and songs. Each
week we will (subject to getting copyright consent) publish the 5 most
nominated hymns and songs.
