We find that a bible-bop is a great way of moving from the games into the worship. Children prefer this to singing and this will draw them to the worship area. Craft

Paul made many followers of Jesus. So for the communal craft we suggest making a large sheet of paper with "We are followers of Jesus" written at the top. Encourage the children to draw round their hand adding a face and their name and then sticking them onto the main sheet.

You could draw a bright sun on a paper plate to make a bright shining light. A lolly stick could then be stuck on it so that it can be held

In the story Paul didn't eat for a few days. For cooking we suggest decorating some biscuits or cakes to make them really tasty and interesting.

Tea

We have found that sandwiches, crisps, sausage rolls, pizza, jelly and ice cream make a really good Sunday tea.
