Arrow Good Friday Labyrinth

Introduction

The Labyrinth
For Good Friday we are offering a Labyrinth. The idea is that the Labyrinth would be available for individuals during the whole of Good Friday and possibly the Saturday too.

If you have a Good Friday Service I would suggest the person leading walks the labyrinth reading the reflections. While doing this it might be a good idea to use young people and children to carry items from the stations around the congregation. This will give those that are unable to walk the labyrinth an opportunity to share in the experience.

We offer a suggestion of 2 hymns or songs per station and would suggest using probably 4 or 5 during the service. We do not offer these as PowerPoint files (though they may be available in material for other weeks) because we believe that the focus of attention should be the labyrinth and it's stations. In addition this service will often be in the round which would make projection difficult.

There is a PDF that has the instructions for building the Labyrinth along with reflection sheets that can be printed and laminated and placed on each station. - Download.

For the Labyrinth service we offer an opening and closing prayer - Download
