These are the resources on offer for January 9th (Covenant)

The related readings for this Sunday are:

Deuteronomy 29:10-15
Jeremiah 31:31-34
Romans 12:1-2
John 15:1-10

We have chosen the theme: Making Promises

At the beginning of the year most Methodist Churches will be holding a Covenant Service. We have chosen to provide resources for this on the second Sunday in the New Year for two reasons. Firstly the first Sunday is a bank holiday weekend  and so many people will be away and secondly it allows us to focus on Epiphany, which sadly is overlooked by many Methodist Churches. You can, of course, use these resources on the 2nd of January or any other date that you wish to have a Covenant Service.

The Family Friendly Churches Trust provides an all-age Covenant Liturgy on All Included. This could make a refreshing change for many churches.
