|
Genesis 15.1-6 |
Psalm 33.12-22 |
This
week's readings are
from the NIV
Just
once in a while I am led to images that speak to a reading so much it
makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. This was so with these
images. A few years ago my family and I were exploring Philadelphia
(the American one) and we stumbled across the most amazing piece of
work. It is called "The Irish Memorial" and as you walk around it
unfolds the story of the Irish potato famine and the exodus to America.
The different facets of this memorial fitted the readings for today
perfectly, please do use them - Mike.
